A number of years ago I might solely play exactly from the piano sheet music in front of me. If I appeared up from the music for a fraction of time I lost my place. I used to be solely snug within the keys of C, F, and G. Typically D and Bb. However I longed to play and smile at the congregation in my church. 3.Fake it. Use a faux e-book to play. This can tremendously encourage you to add to the harmony and melody since you only have a chord symbol and one melody line in front of you. It's going to sound very dry so you can be motivated.

4. Use the whole piano. Play those self same notes simply an octave higher. Now try yet one more octave

5. Don't get discourage by your first results: It's possible you'll not like your first results however don't give up.
